SAMoothie!!!




This is my favorite thing to eat in the morning, it's fresh, healthy and a yummy way to start the day! And breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it helps your metabolism work better :) I usually have this with some turkey on whole wheat toast or I will have it alone if I am too lazy......

If you want more protein you can always add protein powder to it as well... I prefer not to as I don't really like protein powder but do you what you like ;)

You will need: (this is for 2 people)

6 ice cubes
3 handfuls of blueberries
3 1/2 handfuls of strawberries
2 bananas
Honey (we ran out)
Almond Milk or whatever you choose....

Thats it! Put in all in the blender and drink it up!! You will feel so much better knowing you got your fruits in for the day :)

Banana Bread In Your Mouth!

1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed very ripe bananas (about 4 medium)
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup chopped nuts (optional) we didnt :)

1. Put racks in bottom so that the tops of the pans will be in the center of the oven. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease bottoms of 2 loaf pans, 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 1/2 inches

2. Mix sugar and butter in large bowl. Stir in eggs until well blended. Add bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt until just moistened. Stir in nuts if you like them :) Pour into pans

3. Bake 8 inch loaves about 1 hour or until toothpick inserted comes out clean :) Cool!

Put it in your MOUTH!!!!
